Privacy Policy
Pokerazo is a play-money game for adults (18+). No real money is wagered, won or paid out: chips have no cash value and cannot be cashed out or exchanged.
This policy explains what information Pokerazo (the app, the game server behind it and our website at pokerazo.app) collects about you, what we do with it, who else sees it and the choices you have. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
Pokerazo is a play-money poker game for adults (18 or older). No real money is wagered, won or paid out: chips have no cash value and nothing you win can be turned into money, goods or prizes. It is for entertainment only.
1. Who we are
The app is run by TENIKO LLC, a company based in Puerto Rico, United States (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the information described here. Write to us at soporte@pokerazo.app about anything in this policy.
2. Information we collect
- What you give us. You sign in with Google, with Apple or with an email address and password, through Firebase Authentication (a Google service); Google or Apple confirm who you are, and Firebase keeps the email address and name of that account (for an email sign-in, the address and a protected form of the password, never the password itself). Our server keeps only your Firebase user ID, which provider you used and the player name you choose. You may also give us what you write in chats, the name of a club you create and anything you send to our support address. The app keeps that email on your phone, to show you which account you use; our server reads it at sign-in only to recognise the operator’s own account and does not store it.
- Collected as you play. Your chip, Table Time and voucher balances and their movements; the hands you play and their results; your tables, tournaments, clubs, friends and invitations; the items you own; your casino spins; your settings; and a short public player ID shown on your profile.
- Collected from your device. A random ID of this installation of the app (so an account is used on one device at a time), app version and platform, your phone’s language and time zone offset, your push-notification address if you allow notifications, and your IP address, which our hosting providers process to deliver the service and prevent abuse (we do not link it to your account). When something in the app fails, it sends us a short report of what failed (the message, the app version and platform; never who you are), kept for 14 days.
- Fair-play signals. How long your decisions and sessions take and your answers to the “Are you there?” check, to detect automated play, and the flags and events that result.
- Location. Each time you open the app it asks your phone where it is (with your permission) and sends it to our server, which checks it is a real, precise reading and remembers for a few hours that it passed. At a club that turns on “one device per place”, the app also sends your location once when you sit at one of its tables or enter its tournaments, and it is compared with the other players’. In both cases it is kept in memory only, never written to our database and never shown to anybody. Without it you can still practise on your phone, but you cannot sit at online tables (or at that club’s tables).
- From Google, Apple and Firebase. Confirmation that you signed in, your purchase receipts (a token and order number, never your card), and a yes-or-no proof from Play Integrity, App Check or App Attest that the app is genuine.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, advertising ID or health information. Pokerazo shows no ads and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
3. How we use it
- To run the game: your account, chips, tables, clubs, shop and casino, support, and the notifications you ask for.
- To deliver what you buy and keep the records the law and our accounting require.
- To keep the game fair and safe: detect bots, modified apps and collusion, enforce club location rules, moderate chat and prevent fraud.
- To send you notifications you chose, and to answer you.
- To comply with the law, answer lawful requests and defend ourselves against claims.
- To maintain and improve the app, using the data in aggregate.
Where the law asks for a legal basis (for example the GDPR), they are: performing our contract with you (running the game and your purchases), our legitimate interest in a fair and secure game, your consent (location, notifications), and legal obligations. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.
4. Who sees it
- Other players see your player name, public ID, equipped items, how you play at the table and what you write in chats. Members of a club see its chat and results, and its host and managers see who asks to sit.
- Service providers that process data for us: Google (Firebase Authentication, App Check, Cloud Messaging, Google Play billing, Play Integrity), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, App Attest, push notifications), Cloudflare (game server, database and network) and Vercel (website). Chat text is also sent, when you send it, to OpenAI’s moderation service to block serious content such as sexual content, threats or hate, without your name or account.
- Authorities and others when the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our rights, or if the business is merged or sold (we would tell you).
We do not rent, sell or share your personal information for advertising. These providers may use it only to give us their service.
5. How long we keep it
- We keep your account information while the account exists. Table chats are removed after the table closes; club chats last as long as the club.
- Hand records and chip, purchase and casino records are kept as long as the game’s own records, other players’ histories and tax, accounting and legal duties require.
- Push addresses are removed when you sign out or delete your account. Location is never stored.
- When you delete your account, your name, sign-in identity, club memberships, friends, push addresses and notification settings are removed. So the same sign-in (Google, Apple or email) can get back what it had (and not receive the welcome chips twice), we keep an irreversible code derived from that sign-in (it cannot be turned back into your identity) with your balances, shop items and equipped frame. The hands you played and the chip and purchase records stay tied to an anonymous account that only that same sign-in can reopen. Ask us to erase even that code and we will.
6. Security
Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), session tokens are stored only as hashes, location is not stored and access to our systems is restricted. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires, including Puerto Rico’s Citizen Information on Data Banks Security Act.
7. International transfers
We and our providers process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate, which may have different data protection laws. When information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Ask us for details.
8. Cookies
The app uses no cookies. Our website sets none either: it only remembers your language choice in your browser’s local storage, and loads nothing from other companies.
9. Children
Pokerazo is for people 18 or older and is not directed to children under 13 or to minors in general. We do not knowingly collect their information; if you believe a minor has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights and choices
- Access and copy of your information, correction (you can change your player name in the app), deletion, portability, and restriction or objection to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Delete your account and its data in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account) or as described at /delete-account.
- Withdraw your consent at any time: refuse location in your phone’s settings or switch off notifications in the app or on your phone.
- If an automated check (for example against bots) restricted your account by mistake, write to us and a person will review it.
To use these rights, write to soporte@pokerazo.app from the email address of the account you play with; we may ask for more to confirm it is you, and we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority or, in the United States, to your state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission. We do not treat you differently for using these rights.
If you live in California or another U.S. state with a privacy law, you have these rights too: we have not sold or shared personal information in the last 12 months, we only use precise location to apply the location rules you agree to, and we honor opt-out preference signals.
11. Notifications
With your permission we send push notifications of the kinds you choose in the app (invitations, club tables, tournaments, rewards, reminders). They are limited per day and, at night on your phone’s clock, only answers and plans arrive. Change them in the app or in your phone’s settings.
12. Links to other sites
The app and website may link to other sites (for example the stores). We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
13. Changes
We will post any change here with its date, and for important changes we will tell you in the app before they apply. Questions: soporte@pokerazo.app.
